Eastnor Castle lies in Herefordshire at the foot of the Malvern Hills on the edge of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake, Eastnor Castle is the home of the Hervey-Bathurst family. There are a host of things to do at the Castle – you may struggle to fit everything in during your day trip!
You can explore the castle, discover the grounds, take a walk around the Castle Lake, let the kids run wild on the adventure playground, assault course or in the Knights Maze. There are great outdoor activities such as the Tree Trail or if you prefer you can take it easy in the Castle Tea Rooms or Ice Cream Parlour.

Evesham Light Railway
The Evesham Light Railway (EVLR) offers a delightful ride by steam train for all the family, showcasing stunning views across the Vale of Evesham overlooking the Cotswold Hills. The railway, situated at The Valley operates during weekends and school holidays. Owned and operated by Adrian & Sandra Corke with help from a group of enthusiastic volunteers, the Evesham Vale Light Railway passes through cuttings, countryside and a tunnel with steam trains departing from Twyford station every thirty minutes.
During a visit you can take in a train ride past the old apple orchards, stop off at the picnic area or take a countryside walk. Kids will be enthralled by the play fort located at the picnic area.
For a unique experience why not visit Weston Cider’s 400 year old farmhouse, The Bounds? Open 7 days a week, visitors of all ages are invited to discover the secrets of traditional cider making by joining one of the daily guided mill tours. During the tour you will find out how cider is produced from the planting of the orchards to the moment that refreshing drink is poured into your glass.
You can take a stroll through the award-winning Henry Weston Courtyard Garden and into a converted seventeenth century cowshed to see the one of the largest cider bottle collections in the world.
